An automotive brand’s first call line in Spain. Every second of the call designed on published evidence — and mastered for a phone in a noisy workshop.
Sound.
I design how products look, behave — and sound.
Composer by training: 15 years of formal music study — harmony, composition, theory. Product designer and engineer by trade. At ABC I designed the screen and wrote the sound it makes.
Two cases. Two ways to be heard.
A news brand you recognise with your eyes closed, and a voice that decides a call in half a second. Both start the same way: with who’s listening, and on what.
Three letters, three notes. The A it starts on comes back on top of the chord it ends on.
Evidence over taste.
The same four steps, whether it’s a three-note signature or a twenty-five-second call.

The rarer the event, the richer the sound.
One law for any interface — a screen, an appliance, a room, a light. The more often a sound happens, the shorter and quieter it gets. Past 200 times, silence.

What I won’t sell you.
Sound attracts folklore. Part of a senior job is saying no — with the source.
432 Hz calms people.
One pilot with 33 people, and a 32-cent shift doesn’t survive a phone codec.

A product should sound like it looks.
